“… the essential orientation you need for the endgame upon which we have embarked.”
“Washington and the Fed are in the process of putting he coup d’ grace on capitalism and sound money, so if you are to be prepared to protect yourself and your family, nothing could be more timely than this book.”
— David A. Stockman, President Reagan’s Budget Director
The Last Gold Rush…Ever! makes a powerful case that the US dollar and the global monetary system are headed for a world-changing crisis, describes the ways it will unfold, and explains why owning gold is a vital means of protecting yourself, your family, and your wealth.
If you had foreseen the financial confusion of the Carter years, or the exploding debt in the Bush years, or the Federal Reserve’s “money printing” spree during the Obama presidency, you might have profited richly from the resulting bull markets in gold and silver.
But today’s governmental recklessness dwarfs each of those episodes. Add other accelerants to the dollar and debt crises—including currency and trade wars, an unaffordable military empire, and a juggernaut of domestic state socialism—now converging to fuel an era of monetary destruction that will drive gold prices to unimaginable heights.
In this unique collaboration, two gold experts—New York Times bestselling author Charles Goyette, with years of commenting and writing about gold, the dollar, and the economy from outside the industry, and Bill Haynes, with decades of trade-by-trade, tick-by-tick experience inside the precious metals markets—triangulate their views to prepare readers for The Last Gold Rush…Ever!

When better than election season to recall the words of a man who helped create the mystique of the modern American presidency. Theodore White wrote four book series The Making of the President covering the elections of 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1972. He also propagated the Camelot myth of the Kennedy presidency.
Chicago Tribune newspaper with the headline “Dewey Defeats Truman,” this one will be a collectors’ item, too.
That’s not what Republicans did during the national debate on Obamacare. With the legislation before Congress in 2010, the Republicans were reduced to accepting the statist presuppositions of government interventionism. Instead of standing firm, they wobbled about on their spindly little legs, as the Republican National Committee ran TV ads calling for a “responsible plan” and a “bipartisan plan.” With only the occasional exception like Ron Paul, Republicans were incapable of articulating an argument against accelerating American healthcare’s Soviet-style trajectory.
I think the permanent government, the bureaucracy, by and large, on many of the issues that have arisen, has been on the right side rather than the wrong side. There was no enthusiasm among the US military for the invasion of Iraq. Quite the contrary. There was great skepticism in the intelligence community about the justification for that. In fact, the vice president and the deputy secretary of defense, Mr. Wolfowitz, set up an elaborate structure of alternative, politicized intelligence fabrication to justify it. So whatever the problem is, it’s not, so far as I can see, professional civil servants, whether they’re professional military, professional foreign service, professional intelligence officers, and so on.
Will they not stoop to anything?
Bob Dylan winning the Nobel Prize for Literature. On the one hand the prizes are arbitrary and meaningless (Peace Prize President, anyone?), no more to be taken seriously than Time magazine’s Person of the Year. And although I always liked the Freewheeling, Blonde, Highway 61 stuff, we always knew he was putting us on. F’rinstance:
discover that the war that turned Libya into a jihadist hellhole was based on a lie?
that extensive military drill and deployment could worsen rather than improve regional security.
Actually the old Cold War may be over, but the temperature is rising on the New Cold War. Before we end up in a hot war of principals or proxies with Russia — which is certainly where we are headed — it would be good if the American people took a really good look at what is going on in Russia today, a full generation after the long 70 years of Soviet madness. The British foreign correspondent Peter Hitchens describes the unseen Russia of today and writes:
these episodes is that governments and monetary systems must be completely separated. The Zimbabwe inflation was such an embarrassment to other money-printing states that at one point Germany’s foreign minister even ordered the German company that provided Zimbabwe with the fine banknote stock for its legalized counterfeiting to stop deliveries. The Los Angeles Times marked the event with a headline that betrays the news media’s confusion about all things economic: “Lack of bank note paper threatens Zimbabwe economy.”
The Pentagon can’t even keep count.
Zbigniew Brzezinski, Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor, is the interventionist behind the Carter-Reagan policy that had the CIA arming the Afghan mujahedeen. Osama bin Laden was a beneficiary of this genius scheme to provide billions in support for the movement the was the forerunner of al Qaeda.
Dr. Edgar Mitchell, lunar astronaut, passed away at his West Palm Beach home on February 4, 2016 at the age of 85.
In 2011 the Leonardo da Vinci Institute for the Study of Thinking, of which I was president at the time, inducted Dr. Mitchell into the Society and presented him the prestigious da Vinci Medallion. The opportunity to know and share time with Ed Mitchell was an honor indeed.
